Hi guys. Well after hearing positive things about MAX audio ripper I wanted to give it a go. However, when I check the output to Apple lossless and then go to import the files into my itunes library to use with my IPOD I get an error saying Itunes doesn't support .CAF files.
Anyone else have this problem or know how I can get around it.
Cheers

Files with the .caf file ending is not Apple Lossless (or at least not the files you want).
This should work:
1. Go to Max -> Preferences -> Formats
2. Select the upper MPEG4 audio in the lower window, then the + button.
3. Select Apple Lossless, and press the "OK" button.
4. Thats all...
I have switched between comparison and cdparanoia, and have now settled on cdparanoia. They both seem to perform equally well, so I decided to stay with the older and more tested ripper engine.
