Please help me-problem with my USB port:

I just bought a new PC (PCMCIA), 4 port 2.0 card, since my laptop is a bit old and only has a couple of 1.1 ports in the back.
I had a 2.0 card working fine for a long time, and then one day it just stopped transferring at 2.0; it degraded down to 1.1.

So, I bought another card which I thought would just work when I plug it in, but this one is only going at 1.1 as well. It comes with a mini-cd/driver but for some reason my computer doesnt even recognize it or knows that its there (it spins, stops, clicks, spins, stops, clicks-then stops completely).

Anyone have any suggestions as to what the heck is going on?

P.S. last week, I pulled this new card out and put in my old one, and it transferred at 2.0!!! So, I pulled it out to see if I can get my new card to work (since it has more ports, and now neither works).

You should uninstall and then reinstall the drivers. Go into control panel and device manager if your using windows.
