New Crossfeed demos

I just got an email from a developer who knows me through the Metric Halo forum (pro audio firewire interface). He's got an all new crossfeed type program that he wanted me to try. I really like what it does spatially but I haven't had a chance to really listen to all the demo's and judge how well it treats the original sound. I thought you guys might want to give it a listen and leave some comments.
It might be a chance to get one of these programs tailored to high end headphone listening (it isn't released yet and he's asking for feedback) instead of the iBuds crowd.

Listened to Travis "Why Does It Always Rain On Me," there seems to be a sense of artificiality to it, almost muted/veiledness on it. Not my cup of tea

Yeah, I got the same impression from listening to it with the standard settings. There's a page "HRTF" that adjusts the sound to the way that your ears/headphones work together. The developer used Beyer DT880's to "voice" the demos (which are very top heavy). I don't know if these adjustments are going to be in the final product but I assume so.
This product is still in development and this is a chance for us to have some input on how it turns out.
