M-Audio

I just bought an M-audio revolution 5.1, its seems like a great card aside from the crappy drivers.

I am trying to make a set up with the revolution being the source, I will be using K701's. My question is, should I get only an amp or should I get a DAC as well?

I was thinking of getting the Zero dac, since the revolution has a digital out, and combine it with a Little Dot or Darkvoice tube amp. Would this make a good combination.? Are their maybe cheaper but similar combination available? Will the sound greatly improve with the zero as opposed to with just the tube amp?
