Default Looking for speakers for my laptop

Hey

I wanna buy speakers which I can use with my laptop. My main usage is music and playing games.

I had some options, just tell me which one is the best:
Creative Gigaworks HD50
Creative Gigaworks T40
Creative Gigaworks T20

I want the best quality when I listen to music, I'm not into techno, and thats why I'm not looking for speakers with a subwoofer.

Thanks

I like the T20 - cheap and does the job well enough. Warm without being too boomy. I find I prefer the treble knob turned down a tad.

I'm not sure how the HD series compares to the T series.

I just got to audition the T40's yesterday. Today I ordered a set lol . I had the T20's and liked those but the 40's sound even better imo. Only thing to keep in mind is they are bigger then what the they look like in the pictures. Quite tall compared to most. I really love the design/look though.

I think so. They have a great mid range. Keep in mind they are a 2.0 system so they don't have that deep hitting bass (No sub). They are smaller then my M-audio studios and I think sound just as good (AV40s). Plus design is top notch in my opinion. I hate overpowering or bloaty bass and these fit the bill perfectly for me .

but seriously, i own the t20, and must say they are great for laptop/close range - unbelievable quality at the price - they go quite low for a 2.0 system (better than a lot of "studio monitors" which cost a lot more), great materials used for the cones (glass fibre and silk tweeter), and they do sound good.
But when i don my phones (which cost more than double) then i have to admit that they are miles ahead...in the end, although it is good value, don't expect miracles...

I think from the 3 you mentioned i'd go for the t40 - the hd50 you are paying more because of the technology required to make it so small as opposed to just sound quality.

Nevermind, see you've already decided. Well if anyone else is looking...

Klipsch Groove PM20 2.0 is $45 off today only which brings them to $55. May want to consider also.

Not sure on that one. I have not had this issue. I would unplug all the cables and replug them in. Check each one and make sure its secure.
