So I am in the midst of "Consolidating Library" on my new external usb drive.
However, for some reason it didnt put the music into an "iTunes" or "My Music" folder, its just flat out on the EHD (unlike my internal drive where the folders are organized as "My Music"-->"iTunes"-->individual music folders).
To clarify, when I click on the "E" drive in MY Computer it goes straight to all my music folders, not an "iTunes" folder first then my individual music folders.
Not such a big deal, but I want to be able to click on my E drive and then choose b/w a music/pictures or videos folder(s) first, and have them organized.
I can just drag all my music into an "iTunes" folder (or "my music" folder) but wont iTunes then lose its connection to all this music and all the music will then not be found cuz its been moved?

You probably told iTunes to use drive E as your iTunes music folder. Go into preferences and tell it to use a specific folder on E, such as E:\iTunes Music, and then consolidate your library there.

OK-thanks
I was just worries that might take hours to do, but I guess b/c the music is already on the drive it should take barely any time at all?
