imac dac underrated?

Hey folks,
im a newbie but i had a question. Im running my wa6->hd650 combo through a intel Imac dac (24@96) - also a Primaluna prolog 2 to vienna acoustics mozart speakers. It sounds great - i haven't heard any 24/192 DAC's, although im sure that those will sound better.

Sometime ago i got a HR mini Dac and ran it 24/96 from the optical out, and i was a little dissapointed. It sounds a bit "sweet" for me. and the imac somehow sounded more crispier and more reach down to lower frequencies..

i did due diligence to the HR, infact i wanted it to sound better so badly that i swapped them atleast 20 times in a day song after song. But i still stand corrected - the imac dac is really good. anyone have the same feeling?
