Default How to use SoundBlaster X-Fi ASIO instead of ASIO4ALL?

Hi,

I'd like to use the ASIO drivers of my SoundBlaster X-Fi to feed a USB DAC but am having a bit of trouble getting this to work. I am using the latest foobar and latest foobar ASIO plugin. When adding a new ASIO Virtual Device through foobar I'm able to add "Creative ASIO" but after selecting this as the output device the sound only comes through the sound card's output and not the DAC.

However, if I use ASIO4ALL, I'm able to use ASIO through the DAC. Are there any X-Fi owners that could explain how to use Creative's ASIO drivers for a USB DAC instead of ASIO4ALL? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You can't feed the USB DAC through X-Fi ASIO driver but the X-Fi card only ... to do what you like to.. you need to connect the X-Fi through S/PDIF into USB DAC and then use X-Fi ASIO in Foobar... S/PDIF output and Bit-Matched mode in X-Fi settings.
