I have 2 pairs and they do a great job. They are a bit weird in that they lay flat so the reflected tweet disperses in 360. I am not genius but they do sound a lot like headphones thank goodness. Kinda Darthy WITH my 12" sub lol. By themselves, well, not much bass but the mids and especially the highs are wowsers. Plus, they get louder than I can stand without distorting.
Best under $50 speakers EVER!!! yay!!

I got mine just because I wanted to try the omnipolar design. For $50 you can't go wrong lol. Plus, my wife doesn't hate them b/c they are tiny. Unlike bose, they are small AND sound great.
