Looks like we are more in accord then it first appeared. My first post was harsher then I intended. I agree it is an excellent portable which performs above it's price range. Its just that I don't have much use for portables with the 580's.
I've had my Lyrix Pro USB and 580 for almost a month now and I think these work great together. They might not be the best combo money can buy but for the price I think it was worth it. As for the loudness I usually listen to them on high gain around the 11 oclock position and theyre loud enough for listening, 3 oclock is too loud and 100% is just insane.
