I just got myself a ATi 4870 and HR-03 (FYI video card and Heatsink) for my computer and it ended up taking all the expansion slots on my motherboard, forcing me to remove my x-fi. Now I am looking for a external sound card. I use my computer mainly for gaming and music, right now I have a set of Z 5500 5.1 speakers, and will get a nice pair of headphone in the near future. Any sub-200 external sound card that sound good both for music and gaming?
Its a step-up from XMOD ...so if u dont like XMOD then u wont like X-Fi 5.1 ..
It has more ports & jacks and it also needs Drivers unlike XMOD.
For Gaming its much better due to EAX support
