Tjumper did compare the 0404 to the Keces unit at one point (maybe in the big Keces thread?) and I believe made many of the same points brought up by oicdn. He liked the Keces better by a fair margin from what I can remember.
My main source is my computer via USB, so I absolutely need a USB DAC at all times.
I recently sold my DA151 only because I thought Pico (using it as a USB DAC and as preamp feeding LittleDot MK4SE) could replace DAD151. This is how I once again learned that a good desktop product could not be replaced by a portable product no matter how well-designed/built it was(some might disagree but it's just my opinion).
I eventually sold my tube amp as well, and settled with Pico driving MS2i and DT990. For now, I am quite happy with them since MS2i is easily driven by Pico, and DT990 sounds fine with it also.
However, if I ever decide to go with a desktop set-up again, I am definitely getting DA151 and nothing else. I think it's the best product in its price-range, and its quality/quantity of sound surpass many other USB DAC's of much higher prices.
