What? If that's true, I'll be pretty pissed. They better not keep extending the expected date.
Usually, the way it works is that the item will ship on the backorder date that's listed when you order. Since they're receiving so many orders, each shipment of E-MU gear is probably only fulfilling one backorder queue. So, the people who ordered when it said "backordered until Feb. 22" should be receiving their shipments next week, whereas more recent orders may not arrive until early March.
Also, it looks like the product page is back up again, at least temporarily. It's been going down on occasion.

Well, when I check my order status, it still says "backordered," even though I ordered mine last week. There is no indication at all that they received it, let alone shipped it.
Edit: I just called customer service. They are expecting one shipment on the 25, and two shipments on the 29.
I'll believe it that when I see it. Unfortunately, last year they screwed me over pretty good with an item that wasn't even listed as back order but was. Delay after delay. I finally just cancelled, a few months later I received a 20% discount coupon from them. In all fairness, they were moving to a new warehouse and claimed that caused the issue, we'll see this time around!

Does anyone know whether or not the mic will be given once they're back up?
You can place the order now and get the mic. I added one to the shopping cart on the site just now, and the mic and software appeared on the "show cart" page.
ordered mine on the 18th when it said backordered to the 22nd, and it still hasnt gone out. i sent them an email about that and the price being $149 instead of 139 but they just said it's backordered till the 29th and nothing about the price, ending with, thank you for choosing musician's friend
