Default Emu 0404 $139 + free $100 mic at Musician's Friend

I'm always looking at prices for the EMU 0404(still can't decide if I want to commit to one) and until 02/22 they are giving away a decent condenser mic and there's a $10 off coupon when you go to check out. Sounds like a fun deal. Go check it out.

heres the mic -$80 at guitar center

MXL V63M Condenser Studio Microphone and more Condenser at GuitarCenter.com.

Buy E-Mu 0404 USB 2.0 Audio/MIDI Interface online at Musician's Friend

That is a good deal! Thanks for the link... I almost wish I hadn't bought the standalone 0404 USB for $180 back in December.

If anyone buys the deal and doesn't want the microphone, I'll throw a little money your way to take it off your hands.

Ordered.

I don't know what I'll do with the mic. I'll need an XLR cable.

I'm looking to improve my sound from my laptop. I'm wondering if this will be a big improvement when I have a integrated sound card. I also have an amp that I would like to use with this.

wow this seems like a great deal, too bad i just received my alienDAC and SOHA kit.

on the other hand, this semester is already looking very busy and i could just drop the emu0404 into my laptop bag and carry it everywhere..

i dont know, how does the amp compare? which setup would be better?

I have a Mini^3 my headphone is HD580. It's not much of a improvement but the bass is punchier. But I just got my amp and HD580, so I haven't had time to burn in for a while.
