Default Converting FLAC/CUE to High Bit Rate MP3?

Is it possible to convert a CD that was burnt to a single file FLAC File + a CUE File into MP3 files? Meaning, can I convert the single FLAC/CUE File into 13 MP3s so I can put it on my Sony A818? And if so, what would be a good software to use? Thanks.

If the files are FLAC you can use Foobar w/LAME but it sounds like you have one long track containing all 13??

Ah, that'd be a problem as well. Any programs that work with Windows XP?

Foobar with LAME encoder will do the trick.

Foobar 0.9.5.2
foobar2000

LAME 3.97 release

Yes, it seems like the download link is down/broken right now.
Hopefully they get fixed soon...

Use Medieval CUE Splitter first to split one big flac, than do regular Convert in foobar2000.

Default TAGS

Hi,

I've done this recently using FLAC to unencode files then using LAME to encode them to MP3 for my sons new Zune.

I found that the tags were messed up, and had to re-tag them. Since there was a lot of music involved, it was simpler in the end to rip from the original CD and then encode. However, since you probably can't do this, there are free re-tagging programs on the net.

Cheers
John

hold up, do you just want to convert flac to mp3 to put on you sony. if so i can suggest 2 options. one, get teh dbpoweramp converter, and convert them, very easy. or, get media monkey, and sync your mp3 player, with the option convert to xxx (you chose format/encoding) and then do it. i would chose the latter as you can just conver them all at once, but you might have to first get all the info on tracks again (i think, i might be wrong).

I just used Foobar and LAME to convert them. It worked fine, and they still have their tags. Thank you for all the suggestions.
