Best laptop option for 24-bit/96Khz playback?
Rather than poo-pooing about my horrible experience with Creative(as I did in my other thread), I'll simply change the focus of my post and ask a straight-forward question as it relates to my needs.
Have a macbook pro, currently using all manner of audio files with Foobar->ASIO playback in WinXP. I've amassed a few albums in 24 bit/96Khz quality and I'm looking for the best option for playback. Budget is not an issue until I start examining some of the responses. If you have not seen my other post, doesn't matter. Bottom line is that my only qualifier is that the product not come from Creative. Any help greatly appreciated.
