+1 for foobar2000.

I tried using JRiver MC, but liked foobar2000 better.

+1 for JRiver.

I used to use Foobar but don't want all the work associated with making the interface as usable as JRiver.

The new interface included since 0.9.5 has made foobar infinitely easier to get into a working interface. If you are exceptionally impatient (I know I am ), there are premade interface themes posted around the internet.

Adding foo_facets.dll to the componnents makes the overall experience more traditional, and doesn't require as much playlist tweaking from the get-go.

I've been using foobar for years, and I am not in the least bit upset that I no longer need columns/panels ui anymore.

winamp.
Don't know why some find it slow.
I launch winamp in less than 1 second on my vista pc. Very fast, superb interface (bento) and great asio / flac support.

OK, I installed foobar2000 0.9.5.1 and it looks promising so far. I'll be using it stricly for FLAC's, so what settings should I use for playback with Auzen X-FI Prelude?

I'm using Prelude in audio creation mode, 44.1KHz 16bit + bit perfect.

I was using foobar2000 for the last couple of years, but I recently switched to Winamp. I can't hear any difference in sound quality between the two, but I like the default Winamp interface a lot better (with the new bento skin). It's so much work to have a nice interface in foobar2k.
