Best Chaintech AV710 driver and where to get it? ASIO support needed.
I want to get ASIO playback in Foobar. I have Windows XP. What's the best Chaintech AV710 driver version to do this? And where can I download the driver?
Thanks,
kurtfire

I don't use it any longer, but the best way was to flash it to a prodigy card and then download the prodigy drivers, which had native asio support, and worked flawlessly. The thing is that it only gives you an optical digital out, and I think you loose the analog outs, so it is only useful if you use an external DAC.

Right. Thats a good howto, but it lacks the asio part. There are many posts about that, back a coupla years.
