This one is for a mac, however. The popular opinion around here seems to be that the M-Audio Transit would be the best choice, but I heard there were (maybe still are) with OS X. Does anyone have any experience to confirm/deny this? I'm running the latest version of OS X by the way, 10.3.4.
Another option is also the airport express, but I'm not sure how the sound quality is on that thing.
It is Mac compatible (they told me it was). Connect this USB sound adapter to your Mac and a Piccolo DAC to the adapter: I think it is a quality solution. I will buy the adapter soon (I already have the DAC).
The AirPort express rocks! Great sound, but it only works with iTunes. You can't play other sounds through it so it may not suit you.
Otherwise the Transit or the older Sonica should fine. I haven't used either though.
