Using that test, I get nasty rising tones on the 48kHz test, (I tried changing my samples rates to 48kHz but it didn't help) when I play by hovering over in firefox. If I save them, and play through winamp (ASIO or DS) I don't.
I'd have thought playing in winamp with DS (or playing in WMP), the audio would be handled exactly the same as it would through firefox, yet it seems not. Any ideas why? This is in Vista, by the way.
