These lame meet impressions are worthless without pictures.

in all seriousness, it was a great meet.
It was lots of fun getting out and meeting new people. I didnt mingle too much, but i did especically like the new yuin ok1 with the different tips. Fang was quite helpful getting the sound dialed in with all the foamies, and stuff. They are a sweeeet little bud. The head-direct amp that he has had at the last few area meets was soundinhg GREAT. I did not listen to it too much at the previous meets, but ran a few tracks through it with his headphones, my HP-2, and someone elses DT-250. they were all running well. the HP-2 was sounding REALLY great with the amp. The source was a meridian 508, which is not a slouch by any stretch of the word, but i dont often think of an amp with this footprint (this thing is TINY) passing the quality along like this did.
I think it was 88db's rig that i spent a few tracks on when i was shooed away from my turntable. The little amp here was also rocking with my HD-580. It really got them going well.
I missed the opportunity to talk with gbrwit about his tube amp (now upgraded!) but did want to.
