Maybe someone can make this a sticky as part of the John Grado interview thread!
....then I can find it easily for review!
What's cool is seeing some of the folks who I suspect had a hand in making my MS-1 and MS2i. If you are reading this thread; Thank you so much for my beautiful MS2i. Great job!!

For those that were asking, the Grado headphone drivers are made in-house.

Yeah I always thought they were outsourced.
BTW, I have a keen eye. Nobody else noticed this, or if they did, no one posted it. I spy with my little eye balanced XLR connectors on these GS1000s:

Here is one more set of Grado cans that were on display at the Cable Research Lab booth at HES this year. Not many of these out there.

This surely is the Grado post that tops all the others. Amazing to see the house that Grado built in all of its old world, handmade, glory. Definately an almost religious experience for us Gradoheads.
Thanks Luke for an outstanding post. Those RS-2s......who would have thought?

Did you get a chance to ask how Grado makes their cans able to function as x-ray goggles? No-one ever talks about it, but I use that feature all the time. It's really the main reason I bought the cans.

Great pics indeed. It makes me wanna buy an RS 1. Coincidently, I just listened to an SR 60 with a turntable and I loved it. Grados are amazing phones.

Well glad to see Grados are made by dungeon slaves, then stacked in a ratty old cardboard box.
I know I wouldn't be able to sleep at night running a "facility" like this.
