Looks like a fun meet. Lots of people and headphone equipment. I'm sure it was a fun time.

Damn, I missed this one. There were lots of things that I wanted to try out that weren't at the last meet that were at this one. Shame on me.

Looks like you all had fun though!

Hey Guys,

I made a fantastic headphoen cable.
It is the most bad-ass looking cable I have ever seen. I WILL be posting Pics tonight. The whole thing looks 100% professional and I put about 4 hours into making it and installing it.

It is 5ft. long made of red and black 18AWG OFC microstanded wire done in a full quad braid. Gold 1/4" plug and silver solder used throughout.
The impressions are every good!

Previously, it had a very tiny guage wire and single entry. This has been modded to dual entry.

What improved:
- Speed
- Balance (hugely)
- Soundstage
- Much less dark, but with better low end extension.
- Vocals now sound great
- More detail present

I think that most of the improvement is just due to using better cable at a larger gauge.

Pics comming soon!

Default It was a great MINIIIIII MEEEEEEEETTTTTTT....

Rob, I was truely very impressed being at your home. You have beautiful wife & kids, like wise you do have a great looking house. I was also flipped by your good taste in speaker system, man, you are blessed which ever way you look at it. The meet was great, you as a host & Cry Havok, as organized, went that extra mile to insure our comfort & entertainment. The food was great & the the vinyl was to die for. May God bless your home & give you more toys to play with.
It was also great to meet all the Chicago friends & those who came from the near by states to be with us. I had a ball.

Thanks Ray! It was great to see you again, and I really appreciate your coming over. It was fun for a change to have me playing vinyl for you, instead of the other way around

And man, those balanced R10's through the B-52 - yummy
