I saw the new PS Audio PerfectWave Transport and DAC in one of the photos, I think they were at the Moon Audio table, did anyone have a chance to listen to this new offering from PS Audio?

Order from a dealer who has "30 day return no questions asked."

They are nice I have a set ordered, I am sure I will keep mine.(HD 800) but just like everything else some others may not like them.

I will say that I got to RSA, early yesterday and I was the only one there and it was quiet!! The HD 800 Balanced, R 10 Balanced, HE 90 were all there and in my opinion the 800 are right there in that top tier. Happy hunting.

I am here and I almost forgot. The guys who put all this togeather THANK YOU!!!!!!

Yes, stock cable with XLR connectors that Ray did himself.

FYI single ended from the amp with the reel to reel in TTVJs room and the other place I heard the other single ended HD 800 was Moon audio, single ended sounded a lot different. I loved them ballanced.

Just a few impressions so far.

Jerry Harvey's new iems sound excellent as universals and if my experience of the huge difference in from going from the UE-11 universals to the customs is similar to these, this will be a very special iem. Luckily I got some impressions at the meet and will be putting in my order soon at his discounted rate.

I have been negligent in never listening to a Pico product before Saturday. I listened to the Pico Slim with my UE-11s and found that this is finally a small amp that I could live with. The sound was excellent and in my opinion far better than some of the competitors that I have tried and sold off over the years. Volume control was a slick digital control and try as I might I could hear no hiss through my rather efficient IEMs. I had almost decided that it was not worth the hassle of carrying around an amp but I think it is a definite possibility now.

I listened to Fang's HiFiman both as an amp and as a source. He ran the Meridian digital out to the Hifiman DAC and then into his little single tube amp with his new Planar headphones. The sound was good.

I have listened to the HD-800 on Tyll's Balanced desktop, the TTVJ 307a and Voltron's Luxman P1. Sound in all was excellent though I think I prefer them when balanced. Kind of takes some time to get used to the feeling of the phones on your head as they definitely do not feel like my HD-600s. Soundstage is huge and the HD-800s sound like a headphone I definitely need to buy.

I had my HF-2s, HP-2s, Grawks balanced HF-2s, HHF-1s, Boomana's woodied SR-225 deep cups all on my amp so what little listening I did there was to Grados. I determined that Boomana's deep cup 225s sound much better that I remember my stock 225s being back in the day. I really could not tell much difference, in meet conditions, between the balanced and single-ended HF-2s. I think both sound good and look fantastic, but the hype might be a bit too high at the moment as they are not world beaters just good Grados that sound a bit different than their typical fare.

I came here wanting to listen to all the potential Omega II amps and I have. I am still completely sure that the BHSE is the one for me. Nothing I have heard has made the OII sound as good as they sound on Justin's amp.

I have actually enjoyed the company far more than anything I have listened to as seeing old and new friends this week has been the highlight for me.

The whole organization crew have thrown a fantastic meet and I definitely want to thank them for the work they have put in.

Looks like there are two new planars since the Audeze is supposed to use some off the shelf housing.
