well, it was an awesome meet. especially big thanks to tyrion, boomana, mrs tyrion and the kids & everyone else who put a lot of effort into organizing a flawless meet. also, a big thanks to all the participating vendors & manufacturers, and there were many in attendance & some who sent equipment but could not attend. you were missed.
equipment impressions & photos say it all. amazing what people can do with photoshop.
it was a fine crowd of head-fi members & the private event with the eric culberson band saturday night at the hotel was killer.

Wow. Looks like quite the event. Too bad I wasn't able to be there! It sure looked like a blast. I would have loved to put my music through some of those set-ups!!!!!!
Maybe next meet!

I ordered a custom set of Freq's for my Jacuzzi with my bars logo on them.
I put down on a Fully modded Woo Audio GES amp
I placed a order for the 1.2b electrostat headphones
I also traded A well loved peice of gear for a HE60/HEV70 setup.
I am convinced i will go after a used Meridian 808 within this year.
DAMN CANJAM!!!!!! My Wallet is so burned..i love it!
I finally heard the HE90!!!!!!! omg!!!!
i listened to them on Justins aria amp in the main meet room so i really could not pick out the low bass tones but the soundstage on them is seriously F***king incredible. no dynamic could ever come miles close to it. after i listened to them i knew the electro way is the road i am going down now.
I have more listening impressions but for now thats all cause i want to sneek out of here and take the Z4 for another drive. last night her and i went out for a few hours up the coast.....ohhhhhh the romance.

In case anyone cares, I made it safely through Ft. Lauderdale's airport security with both my Millett Max and DAC-301 avoiding closer inspection! w00t!
Thanks are in order for Tyrion and all the Florida crew for making such a great meet happen! It was my first Head-Fi meet, and it was quite excellent! I really enjoyed listening to several different K701s on my rig, and just experiencing all the other great rigs out there! The vendors were great, giving away lots of cool stuff, Kimber Kables especially for me! Also, thanks to all the vendors who made my sweepage of the raffle possible... I was pumped to grab some sweet new gear!

Thanks a lot for all the pictures and impressions!
Sure looks like the International Head-Fi meeting turned out successful this year as well.

I don't give a damn about your pics. Why haven't you changed your avatar to one of these? You better get to cropping and updating your avvy or you are dead to me! The first one is my first choice. Killer pic.

BTW, in the airport and waiting for the first leg to start. Gene, my main squeeze as always, loaded my bags and drove me to airport. Thanks for everything, my friend. Thanks also to literally everyone who made this thing incredible. Mike put on quite the party with the whole of Team Florida pitching in in many and varied ways. Who's up for next year!? Gonna be another doozy, I hope!

The gear I listened to:
Genesis Speaker rig from Let There Be Sound - that's the best I've ever heard music sound, including live. Without a doubt, if I ever make a billion dollars, I'll buy a setup like this right after I buy a hockey team.
Dynamic Amps:
Balancing Act from Eddie Current
The Menace from Vince Vaugn Audio, designed by Pete Millett
Beta 22 from Rockhopper Audio
Single Power Extreme Boomana Edition
Estat Amps: (with Koss ESP950 headphones)
Blue Hawaii SE
Stax SRM007t
Headphones:
Balanced old school RS1s
UE11 Generics
Sony R10s
AKG K1000
AKG K340
I can honestly say I did VERY little critical listening this weekend. I did enough to realize that I was impressed with all of the gear I listened to, but there was WAY too much noise, and so I mostly spent my time talking and doing other things.
Highlight of the weekend was definitely time with friends I'd never met before. Some stories will never be told, and some will...
