Sorry, Dave, et al .. that was me, agile_one, posting the simple, photographic evidence section of the ongoing stevieo trial ... the jury is still out. But I am secure in the knowledge that the Head-Fi community can judge whether or not esteemed member stevieo was singled out for ridicule. I say "No", but the final resolution is in your/our/the communities ' hands.
That's it from CJ '08 about as late as it gets, We are rockin' and having a great time ... wish you were beautiful ...

Pure sonic bliss this was. This rig definitely convinced me that I need to go electrostatic, put simply. If there's any one dynamic headphone that could come even remotely close to the sound I heard on this, I'd say it was my personal balanced Beta 22 & balanced Audio-Technica AD2000 pairing. Not too dissimilar-sounding between those two pairings. The OII/KGBH SE was clearly way better in every way - from delineation in soundstage to bass impact to treble, and even speed, which the AD2000 already excels in. My ears heard the stars.

Please elaborate here as I have always being interested in a Stax setup. Was the SR-007 the a or non a variant you listened to and when is the HeadAmp Blue Hawaii SE available?

It's a SR-007Mk2 AFAIK which is the same as the A version except the color.

It does not sound like there was that much at CanJam. Only a couple of Stax headphones, a Headamp amp and maybe an R10.
Did anyone listen to anything else other than ASR?

A bit late, but thanks for the pictures Asr, especially from those of us who can't attend the meet.
Especially interesting to see all the Crossroads/Go-Vibe stuff Uncle Wilson hasn't shown us here

Asr has had used his evening for the good of Head-Fi while the bulk of the crowd has done right for our own heads.
As for impressions, I have one overarching one to offer. Team Florida has put on a tremendous meet in between the full-blown parties. Although many were involved, tyrion, boomana, Agile_One, NightWoundsTime, JP11801, wmcmanus, episiarch, tyrion's entire family, and others worked their butts off to make this event a success once again. Thank you for having us over!
The meet/gear/people impressions will follow.

In all seriousness, I'll post real impressions when I get back to mobile. Right now typing on the iPhone is fairly laborious, so I'll wait till I have a real keyboard. I did take notes everytime I listened to something, so impressions shouldn't be stale.
