What a great meet! We had a good time at Fort Lauderdale. The meet gave us an opportunity to talk to our friends in real world. We got very good chance to know members and vendors, make new friends and learn new things. Thanks to the host Mike, and the Florida committee for their efforts! Btw, Florida is a very nice place. We just arrived home today after a small vacation Monday and Tuesday.

Best,
Fang

I came into the meet a bit ill, left ok, but I'm ill again. I've concluded I'm allergic to NYC.

Thanks to everyone in FLA for being gracious hosts.

I've uploaded the first wave of videos. The link is in my sig. It's 720P so you need a fairly modern computer to play if you play full screen.

My advice to you:

- Use your own ears as everybody's hearing and preferences are different.
- Try to audition as much equipment as possible to find your sound.
- Buy used to save money.

Must be the nice hot humid air that's good for you.

Me? I like the cool, dry air.

Vids look great. Don't think you really needed my footage, LOL. At least I didn't waste any tapes. Heheh.

Fang, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay down here. It was great to meet you guys. I'm just sorry that I didn't get to your table to sit and listen. I did hear the HE 1.2 at Woo Audio's table and they would be the reason I went stat again. Thanks for supporting CanJam '08.

Nice. Does Ingwe mean "beaver" in Elvish or something?
LOL!

Actually, a bit of websearch revealed this:

Actually, Ingwë's name doesn't appear to have originally had a specific meaning, but it became associated with the Quenya word inga, meaning 'highest point'. So, Ingwë's people the Vanyar referred to themselves as the Ingwer ('high ones'), and Ingwë's own title as High King of all the Elves derives from Ingwë Ingweron, literally meaning 'chief of the chieftains'.

Proved that despite its huge size, the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

And how about now the Ultrasone Edition 9?
