Aw. I was looking forward to trying those out. I guess I'll have to catch them next time. Until I listen to everything, I'm sticking with my JVC's.

My advice to you:
- Use your own ears as everybody's hearing and preferences are different.
- Try to audition as much equipment as possible to find your sound.
- Buy used to save money.

It turned out to be what I would have wanted and more, a real blast!.

Hey, I'm with Iron_Dreamer on this one. MOA left me wanting more! If my car hadn't eaten $2K+ four weeks before CanJam, it looked like I was going to be able to make it. Just another case of the number game not showing the reality of the situation.
BTW I think Chicago would be great for 09. I haven't been there forever and it's a hell of a town!

Sadly, I heard that Lavry was slated to be there and may have paid for a table but Dan and Priscilla's son -- perhaps the same one who works for the company and was also at HeadFest -- had a medical issue arise and needed surgery. I hope all is well with them, but they were indeed missed. Both Priscilla and Dan were very interesting to talk to and really enjoyed the meet last year. I am honored that I won their DA10, especially after having my son's name pulled in the drawing last year and passing it up because he was not present to win it. Ironic.

I just got back from a 3-day work conference. It was not as fun as CanJam. Not so much.

How are the new Singlepower amps holding up? I hope you've already enjoyed a few nights of great music through your new setup.

Still no impressions, will try to write some this weekend.
Did anyone find a hard adidas glasses case with prescription sunglasses in it? I can't seem to find them and possibly left them behind...

Seeee?, this is where my idea of invisible IEM's or IIEM's would come in handy.
Sure the cloaking device would give off some RFI, but it's a small price to pay. The only downside that I can think of is trying to find them when you put them down with the cloaking device still enabled and you had a couple of brewskies.
You would have to let the rechargeable batteries die in the cloaking module and then they would re-appear.
Don't laugh. They made fun of the frisbee idea and look where that got the man with the vision. Rich, rich, rich.
