WTB: AKG K340 dynamic driver (just one is OK)
Fat chance, but worth a try. I have AKG K340 with a burned driver, need a replacement. If you have one, I want it.
Thanks

Since I have no drivers left (had two of the green version but I've used them in a damaged pair for someone here on Head-Fi), I would suggest two things:
1- try fixing it yourself (usually its a problem of the wire being dis attached from the soldering pin).
2- contact AKG, these parts shouldn't be more than 30$ a piece IMO.

1) The wire is lost on the driver, that much is certain.
2) Frank at AKG just replied this morning saying that driver is no longer available and there is no replacement part.

1. any pictures? maybe I can help you, I've fixed two of these in the past.
2. contact AKG Austria, I think they still have these.

Hi,
Did anyone ever find where to get a replacement? I'd like a green one to match my other. The wire detached from the soldering pin on mine and I broke it further trying to repair it (unrepairable now, I ended up pulling it apart completely to find what had gone wrong).
