gone, Western Electric Silk and Enamel headphone cable.
I made the cable in a 2/2/4 braid configuration (I followed the Litz braid guide on Chimera labs website). The length is approx. 1.53metres. It's terminated to a 3.5mm gold and matte black quality Neutrik plug.
Solder used was Cardas Quad Eutectic audiophile solder.
This wire in this is a high quality solid core copper 24 AWG vintage wire. Its covered in some kind of cloth, then silk, then the enamel.
It's a rare reccomended wire thats described on the Chimera Labs website as a good choice for the Litz braid.

Photos (photos came out a little funny):
(I had someone asking me about the correctness of the braid due to the arrangement of the wire colours.
The colours of the wires are non standard, but the physical arrangement is 100% correct and is exactly as the cable arrangement sequence on the Chimera labs website.
The wires you see with the black pen marks at the ends, are the ground wires.)
