SOLD: Marantz SR7002, DH9300, DV9600, DV6001 and RC9500
Hello again,
No, I didn't steal them, lol. I went to Boston Acoustics factory sale on 03/15/2008 in Peabody, MA. Boston Acoustics, Snell, Marantz and Escient are sister/cousin companies and I bought tons of gear WITHOUT thinking. Even tough I am keeping several items, I decided to sell some of them for the EXACT prices that I have paid (+ shipping and paypal fees) for head-fi members.
SR7002 is A-stock and rest of them are B-stock (refurbished) equipment. Ideally, A-stock equipment comes with 3 year warranty and B-stock equipment comes with 1-year warranty. However, I read this in their website:
"This warranty will extend for the period of 1 Year from the date of purchase for Labor and Parts. No warranty, whether expressed or implied, is given or made with respect to any accessory supplied with a factory reconditioned product. To the extent not in conflict with applicable law, this warranty extends only to the original purchaser and shall be valid only if the product is purchased and warranty service sought within the United States of America, including possessions and territories. It is the OWNERS responsibility to establish the date and place of purchase at the time warranty service is requested; either by the original bill of sale or like invoice."
I have the original bill of sale and will be sending a copy to the buyer. Now, depending on what I read, Marantz may say nay if anything happens to the unit until 03/15/2009 since the buyer's name won't be on the invoice. In this instance, I would be more than glad to help you in any way I can.
Also, bear in mind that B-stock equipment may have minor cosmetic blemishes.
I believe I have disclosed everything that I know.
This is your chance, as a head-fi member, to buy some good gear for good prices and I am as transparent as I can be. Please let me know if you have any questions.
NOTE: I will not negotiate the prices, i.e. they are firm...
NOTE2: all equipment are still in their SEALED factory refurbished boxes.
PRICE (ADD SHIPPING + PAYPAL/GOOGLE FEES):
Marantz DH9300 Hard Disk Media Server: $525 >>> SOLD in EGAY
Marantz SR7002 thx select2 surround receiver: $893 >>> SOLD in HARDFORUM
Marantz DV9600 Universal Player: $788 >>> SOLD in AUDIOGON
Marantz DV6001 Universal DVD Player: $158 >>> SOLD in HEAD-FI
Marantz RC9500 Universal Remote Control: $315 >>> SOLD in AUDIOGON
References are in my sig. Thanks...
Yesterday, we got our first mac laptop and I couldn't resize the pictures (need some time to learn the tricks); however, if you change the 'L' to 'O' in the end you can access to high res photos (first few photos are for SA12S1 which I am keeeping):

it is not more expensive in [H]; prices are exactly same in hardforum, hometheaterforum, audiogon, head-fi, hardforum, diy-street and anandtech
In [H], I added the 3% paypal fees in my prices and wrote that I will cover the paypal fees (whereas here I am asking additional 3% on above prices). In [H], I also gave the option to subtract 3% if you use USPS money order rather than paypal, which means, in the end, they are exactly same prices as advertised here. Hope it clarifies...

DV9600 is sold in agon, too.
DH9300 is up for grabs. I can also trade it against a speaker or an amp...
