SOLD: Empirical Audio Offramp Turbo 2 Usb to SPDIF Converter
No longer need this usb to spdif converter as I switched to vinyl for one of my rigs.
Drivers are available from m-audio (just get the latest transit usb drivers).
Just looked and looks like they have current drivers for XP, Vista, and working on Win-7 drivers. They currently have downloadable public beta drivers.
Package comes with offramp turbo 2, standard wallwart power supply, USB cable, and coaxial cable to connect to digital input of your dac.
I have also have the SRC file for foobar2000 that came with it originally.
Has worked very well for me...compared it to the spectral sdr3000 transport with proprietary interlink connection to the spectral DAC and was fairly close. The spectral stack was better as it should be, but performance was close enough that I didn't mind at all using the DAC + Offramp for general listening...very convenient to have something like this since it can be used with a desktop server or laptop.
