Macbook Pro - 2.16/2gb/160gb/Apple Care + $825 in extras - $1399
I just purchased a new 17" MBP and will no longer need my 15". I've got an extensive write-up below for eBay, but I figured I'd try on Head-Fi first since I've had MUCH better luck with members of Head-Fi.
I'm asking $1399 + shipping of your choice. I'll cover Paypal fee if that's the way you choose to pay.
I'd prefer a cash deal, but I'd be willing to entertain a trade. I'm looking for a few things currently. I'd really like to pick up a nice set of monitors (I'd prefer some Totems, but any good monitors are game), or a nice Sonos system. EDIT: Feel free to make any sort of audio related trade proposal, not just monitors or Sonos gear. I'm pretty content with my cans and headphone amps for now, so that's probably out. We can work out trades + cash too (either from my side or yours).
I've sold and purchased a lot here on Head-fi and feel free to check my feedback under Jussei. For now I'm going to limit a sale or trade to a US member. I'm located in Ohio and local pickup is just fine and strongly preferred. If picked up locally, I'll donate all shipping costs that would have been incurred to Head-fi, if paying in cash, I'll also donate the Paypal fee I would have incurred.
WRITE-UP (I'm possibly leaving some things out, I'll update if I find anything I forgot about) - I'll post pictures soon as well
First a bit of back history on the computer: I’m the second owner. The original owner purchased it new from Apple and owned it for only a month prior to selling. I’ve owned it for a little over a year and it’s been babied since the day I purchased it. I’ve mainly used it as a desktop machine. The only reason I decided to upgrade is for a slightly larger high resolution screen for photography work, I’d keep it otherwise as it’s plenty fast for every application I’ve thrown at is and the computer has done a great job with HD video as well.
Functionality
Everything is operationally perfect. I had a battery issue earlier this year and Apple replaced the battery with a new one just a couple of months ago (I have the paperwork to confirm this somewhere, I just have to find it). The new battery has only had 12 total cycles. The computer has never been dropped, exposed to spills or extreme weathers, or even been bumped for that matter.
Cosmetics
Seeing how I’m anal retentive about my computers, the cosmetic condition is near mint, just as I received it. One minor imperfection, which the computer had when it shipped from the Apple factory, is that the power button is very slightly tilted (probably about 15 degrees down to the left). You don’t really notice it unless you are looking and it has no affect on function whatsoever.
If you get out a microscope, you may find some very fine scratches/marks on the case here and there, but you would really have to be seeking them out as the case is in fantastic condition. I’ve had a clear Speck case on from day 1 (which is included) and it has prevented any scratches from making their way to the case. I also put a Marware protector over the wrist-rest, a protector over the trackpad and button, and a silicon protector on the keyboard as soon as I got the computer (again – I’m very anal retentive). Basically my hands have never touched any part of the computer itself since I’ve owned it, which meant that everything remained in pristine condition.
Absolutely no case-warping or dents to report either.
The screen is excellent as well, no marking, scratches or dead/stuck pixels. It’s been well taken care of and cleaned/dusted appropriately.

Another bump for an outstanding machine.
I'll try and get some pictures up tonight.
Again, if you are looking for an outstanding computer with lots of great accessories and software, I'm up for trades too.

I'd like to restate trade stipulations. I'd prefer some monitors or a Sonos system, but I'm up for just about any sort of audio trade (and possibly other things), so feel free to make offers.

I've listed this Macbook Pro eBay:
Macbook Pro - 2.16Ghz / 160gb HDD / 2GB / Applecare - eBay (item 250243297662 end time May-10-08 18:14:25 PDT)
The purpose of this post isn't to plug the auction, since I hate that as much as the next guy, it's just that I'd like the funds from its sale pretty soon for another audio project I'm working on and I'm unsure if I'll get enough interest here.
I'll still gladly sell here for $1399 + whatever shipping you want. I'd MUCH prefer to sell here on Head-Fi.
Again, I'm also completely open to audio related trades. Since it's a 10 day auction, if you are interested I'd prefer you contact me within the first 5 days or so since I don't like to pull the rug out on bidders in the last few days.
If you are interested in pictures, please check out the auction or for full resolution go to my Flickr account at:

Thanks,
Jussei
