I bought the ipod from Ebay about a month ago. The buyer claimed to have kept it in a case from the day he bought it. It is in very good shape- a few scratches, but one of the best looking, non apple refurbed Ipods I've seen. The worst part of the scratching is around the dock connector, but seriously, this looks very, very good.
I immediately sent it to Vinnie for the mod. During the 2 week transit, the 5g mod was announced. I had no plans to upgrade, but succumbed to the desire for a thinner, black imod.
It has been protected by an invisible skin ($25) since I got it back from modding. I have no knowledge whether the battery has been changed, but I seemed to get about 8 hours of playback if I just let it run (ie didnt play with it). I think this is pretty typical for a 4g Ipod playing lossless. It has about 300 hours on it (mostly burn in) since being modded.
Included accessories are what I received form the original owner and are pictured.
I also have an 5" Apuresound (ak zip) cotton mini to mini (both ends right angle) that I can also sell with it. The cable sounds great and I thought it held its own against more expensive cables (I paid $95).
