FS: Zhaolu 1.3 with all upgrades (Finland, EU)
For sale is the excellent sounding "budget" DAC, the one that started the craze, the Zhaolu 1.3.
It has the upgraded power supply, the clock upgrade, the black gate upgrade and a metallic DY2000 opamp.
It truly sounds great. My point of reference is the E-Mu 0404, which sounds like a plastic toy compared to the Zhaolu. The soundstage is wide, the bass deep, tight and impactful, the highs crystal clear yet completely non-fatiguing. A very musical DAC that beats components costing several times more.
All in all, it is honestly a great piece of audio equipment. I wouldn't be willing to sell it unless I was about to purchase a Lavry DA10 for balanced listening purposes.
