Default FS: Very special iMod offer!!!!!

Dear Headfiers. I have been selling my iMod Dock and iMod for some time in separate sales..............I was given an excellent offer before Head-fi went through its november absence. I no longer have the name of the head-fier who gave me the offer, BUT.....

I am tapped for money, and I am going to make a very special offer.

I have the wooden iMod dock which ALO audio made five of and is starting to resume production of. I bought it for $550. It has been kept in mint condition. ALO audio's asking price is currently $750 as the materials are harder to come by. It has also been readjusted to suit the charging needs of all iMods. Apple has recently changed the pins so that not all iMods were able to charge on this dock. This is fixed up just for this purpose. But why would anyone charge it while listening.......we love a black background right!......

Well that's where my custom made Red Wine Audio Power Supply comes in. It is ONE OF A KIND. Only one was made and Vinnie tells me he will most probably never make it again as he no longer has the parts. It is the pride and joy of this system for me as it allows the iMod to charge while being played and maintain its battery-like black background. No hum! I paid $450 for this power supply. It has definitely appreciated in value since its maker admits to not making another one before or since. The Dock with this Power Supply sounds AWESOME!

Lastly, and this is the hardest thing for me to part with.......My 5.5G iMod.....it is ONE OF A KIND. I mean this both internally and physically. Internally it possesses a 100 GB harddrive. Vinnie claims its the only 100 GB iMod he's ever worked on. To keep things unique (and to separate it from my other iPods - I have 5 ipods) I had Vinnie put a black wheel on the face of it. It is a WHITE iMod with a BLACK wheel and WHITE button......I call it the Zebra, but of course you can call it whatever you want.

The iMod is in excellent condition. The external harddrive itself cost me a whopping 300 dollars! I spent this money foolishly before I knew the 160 GB ipod was coming out, but I'm fine with it now because I know I have a one of a kind iMod. And the Buyer will have this luxury too. When encoding losslessly, that extra 20 GB is a tremendous plus.

I will take photos of this complete set up in a day or two. My iMod is currently at Red Wine Audio having an extended life battery put into it so that the buyer may have the enjoyment of many many cycles.

As a special thank you to the buyer I will ship them RCA monster cables.....No they are not the end all of high end cables, but they certainly fare well in this system.

Note: The 100 GB harddrive takes up less battery power per cycle than the original 5Generation 80 GB harddrive. From my tests you gain about 30 minutes per charge.

PRICE for the entire package $1300

I calculated it this way:

Dock - cost me 550, now retails for 750......I'll sell it for 500
Power Supply - cost me 450, will never be made again.......I'll sell it for 400
iMod - Cost me 900!!!!!!!, but I'll sell it for 400 as part of the package

Pictures will be posted in two or three days when I have my iMod back from Red Wine audio. If you would like to see the condition of the Dock and Power Supply, please feel free to PM me.

I will sell the dock with the power supply separately from the iMod
BUT i will not sell the iMod for $400 alone as it is worth a lot more than $400, I look at it as the added bonus of the package.

Thanks for looking

Buyer pays for shipping.
