Default FS: Teac Esoteric DV-50s

I am dismantling my electrostatic system and as part of that I'm selling one of two sources, my Marantz SA-11S1 (see separate thread) or this Esoteric DV50s. It is in excellent functional and aesthetic shape (it's color is black) and the only reason I'm tempted to sell it rather than the Marantz is because I'm only going to be using this player for two-channel stereo (which is all the Marantz does) so it seems like overkill to keep the plays-virtually-all-discs Esoteric. It will come with original packaging, manual, and remote (in great shape -- I had the red lens cover replaced a few weeks ago). This is a powerful, flexible beast of a player, and it needs a good home that will appreciate all that it can do. It retailed for $6000 (!) and I'm willing to sell it for only $2200 (not including shipping or paypal fees). If interested, please contact me soon before I move on to Audiogon (I'd rather sell it to a Headfier, but it will get many more bites on Audiogon). Please contact me for high-res pix. Price now lowered to $2100.

I could use the cash sooner rather than later, so I'm reducing the price to $2100. Ask around -- this is a terrific price!
