I was using this external USB sound card and recording interface to run Foobar 2000 on my XP-64 rig out to headphones. I can report that the US-122 has tested as working well. It comes with the original USB cable, a single length of Monster cable terminated with XLRs, and a box. I will send a newly burned disk with the updated drivers for Windows. It did not come with the original installation disk.
To hit the highlights, it has a 1/4" headphone out jack, as well as analog rca jacks out, and balanced midi out. It is a *USB v.1* device. It's faultless for music playback and works extremely well with ASIO4ALL. I had problems using it for dvd movie playback (one must dicker with the playback latency), and it's obviously the wrong option for gaming. I haven't tested its recording functions, but I have no reason to expect that they are impaired.
It's a handsome, ruggedly built device with a strong metal case and a rubberized center panel. It's USB-powered, so it's quite portable.
I'm asking for what I paid--$75.00 shipped anywhere in the CONUSA. I might consider offers and partial trades. This is a super introduction to computer audio-out if you haven't yet taken the plunge. I'll get photos up tomorrow.
