Default FS: Sony STR-DA4ES digital receiver

asking price $275 + shipping
(edit weight is 44 lbs. shipping from 27514)

I am actually selling this str-da4es digital receiver for my brother-in-law, so I am not as familiar with it as with my own gear, but I am willing to stand behind it 100%. This unit is really sweet for home theater and is decent for music. I prefer my modded dynaco ST-70 for 2-channel music, but this is a nice all in one 7.1 receiver. As you can see from the picture, it has a ton of analog and digital inputs. It can also run systems in two separate. It comes with an lcd remote and the manuals are on cd-r. I can print these out on request.

My brother in law did manage to get some scratches on the top and sides of the unit. I wouldn't say the scratches really jump out at you, but I definitely would not refer to this unit as mint conditioner either. I tried to show that in the pictures, although I would say the flash makes the scratches appear a little worse than normal. The front face plate looks good.

I took a picture of the inside and there are some major heat sinks and a ton of nichicon gold caps. So it is made with some qualtiy components. I think the list price was more than $1000.
