Default FS: Peter Daniel's Audio Sector NOS DAC

SOLD

Description:
This is kinda a oddball, it is a non-oversampling DAC that doesn't come with a case (for sonic purity). It is one of my favorite DACs below $500, I would keep it but I am downgrading my rigs. It sounds very smooth with powerful bass and great mids. It is one of the more aggressive sounding NOS dacs I have heard, I would sounds like a improved Lite Audio DAC-AH. The transformer hums a little bit so I kept mine with acoustic foam on top and on bottom. A detailed description of the Audio Sector vs. other DACs I have tried can be found here with a description of the setup here.

This unit may be familiar if you know Peter Daniel's AudioZone brand. This DAC normally retails for around the $800 range boxed up and assembled. Peter was selling these for $300 unassembled and it was up to the buyer to put them together. This comes assembled but caseless. It was assembled with a BNC input but comes with a BNC -> RCA adapter. Assembled with lots of blackgate caps.

This unit has no blemishes to speak of, but yet again it is in the nude.

Terms:
This will be double boxed and shipped insured. This unit will come with a 14 gauge power cord. Accepting Paypal, money order, or personal check. I will only sell to a buyer with verifiable good feedback. I have a feedback on Audiogon, Club Polk, Head-Fi, and Ebay. For sale in the US only.
