Up for sale are 3 portable CD players. Selling all of them because I haven't used them in years. Just cleaning up the house.
SOLD SOLD SOLD
First is the Sony D-5A. This was I think the first Sony walkman introduced to the US. Manufacture date on this says May, 1985. I also have the docking station, which lets you plug the unit into the wall for power and also has RCA plugs. The docking station says 5B on the back. I don't have the 9v power plug for the player though. So you pretty much have to use the docking station unless you get something else. I just tried the player and it works perfectly fine. I don't remember having any issues with it. Asking for $70 (or best offer) shipped to CONUS.
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Second is the Sony D-311. I'm not gonna say much about this legendary player. There's plenty of threads on here about it. The player is in excellent shape except for a scratch on the cover. Comes with the battery pack (2 AA) that snaps onto the back. I don't have the internal battery. I have the 6v wall plug except it doesn't fit into regular jacks (see pic). No remote. Just tried it and it still sounds great. Asking for $150 (or best offer) shipped to CONUS.
Last is a Panasonic SL-S231C. I bought this brand new back in 98 or 99. In decent shape. Not much to say about this one. It's not a well known player and I definitely wouldn't put it anywhere near the Sony's as far as sound quality is concerned. Asking for $15 shipped to CONUS. Or if you buy any of the other 2, I'll throw this one in for free.
I'm in the Seattle area. I take PayPal. I have feedback on here and also on
eBay.
