FS: Oritek Modded Zhaolu DAC D2.0A $250 - SOLD

The unit is the BlackGate capacitors upgrade (in the power supply section), originally purchased from diykits when I visited Hong Kong. Then it was modded to be the OMZ DAC 2.0A v2.0 (or v2.5) by Oritek Audio. Only the coax input is enable to ensure the best sonic quality.

It was shipped to Oritek Audio last month to get another upgrade, but unfortunately there is no enough space for the new Oritek Headamp board. My only choice is the get the new OMZ D2.5A DAC/HDAMP. So, I have to put this unit up for sale.

Mint condition. Asking $299 plus S/H to your location. The unit is at Oritek Audio, in the Bay Area.

Update.

It is confirmed that my unit cannot be modified to the v4 mod. However, the unit sounds superb, as one of the best sounding dacs (you've got to hear it!) due to the high-end-class Oritek Discrete Output Stage, the separate PLL transformer, other Oritek mod procedures and the quality power supply section (I would say better than the D-2.5's). Other owners and I are very satistied with this model.

This OMZ D-2.0 unit comes with its original headphones amplifier which can still be reconnected, if you need to drive your headphones. This is *impossible* in the OMZ D-2.5.

My lower price is $250 + S/H. I paid $480 for it.
