Default FS: Njoe Tjoeb 4000 tubed CD player

I am selling my Njoe Tjoeb 4000 CD player. It uses a transistor tube output stage. It's a fantastic CD player for the money. I have heard a lot of sub-$1k CD players, and this was by far my favorite. The sound is smooth and detailed, with a great soundstage. This is a neat unit because you can swap in different tubes to change the sound. This unit will come with one set of Phillips ECG 6922 tubes (0 hours on them), and one set of NOS tubes from Upscale Audio (~1000 hours). It also has a remote. I have all the original packaging, and the unit will ship double boxed. There is a small ding on the back of the unit, which you can see in the pics. It doesn't effect the functionality in any way, and I have accounted for it in the price.

Here are the pics of the unit:

There is a ton of info and reviews at Upscale Audio's page.

A new one is $849 + $19 shipping at Upscale Audio.

I will sell mine for $549 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states. No international sales, sorry.

I am mattbwc on eBay, if you'd like to check my feedback there.
