Default FS: Myryad MC 100 CD Player w/ Digital Output

Myryad MC100 CD Player. 1 bit PLM D/A converters; 8x oversampling; Frequency response 20 Hz - 20 kHz, +/- 0.3dB; THD 0.003% @1kHz; S/N ratio 104 dB; Dynamic range (like every linear system with 16 bit resolution) 96dB; Output impedance 250 ohms; Dimensions 17" (436mm) W x 3 3/4" (95mm) H x 11 1/4" (286 mm) D; Weight 12 1/2 lbs. (5.6 kg.)

As a CD player, it has a crystalline sound with lots of low level detail, sparkle and punch. Very musical. Not a bright sounding player, however. Not nasal and midrange heavy like some redbook players. This is a great sounding player.

I have tested this player's digital output with dCS DAC gear this player makes for an excellent transport for use with a high-end DAC for future upgrade path. Very transparent. I just tested it with a dCS Purcell and Delius, Mark Levinson amp, B&W N802 speakers and reference level Transparent cabling, and it really performs.

Unfortunately I do not have the remote control or original box, however, it should be a simple mater to either replace the remote control or find one it responds to. For example, it responded out of the box to the CD controls of my Audiolab integrated amp.

Excellent condition, smoke free environment, brushed aluminium face plate, ect. Paid about $1200 for this.

$399.99 + shipping and handling to be determined.
