I'm selling my modified Chaintech AV710. It comes with Blackgate caps in the output path of the Wolfson DAC. You can search the forum for plenty of impressions of this mod. IMHO it tightens up the bass response and adds more clarity to the signal. The modification was done by Iron_Dreamer of Head-Fi who has done many sound card modifications. This makes a great card for those starting out in pc audio. Use the Wolfson DAC with Kernel Streaming for now, and when your ready, use the optical output to an external DAC and still enjoy Kernel Streaming. I'm moving from a desktop to a laptop, so the PCI sound has to go. This card is in excellent condition. For SOLD including S&H, this card can be yours.
