Phono Stage:
Graham Slee Special Edition 2. Read the reviews. They're not kidding. This thing smokes anything within 2-3X its price. Rarely seen for re-sale, and for very good reason. $300.
Speaker cable:
Audio Note/Kondo KSL-C. 10 feet, bi-wire! So, you get 40 feet of this great stuff. You'll have to listen hard to hear a difference between it and their silver KSL. This sells for $100 per stereo foot; I'm selling for $1200. Tinned ends, as Kondo recommends, my friends. Nothing like a little haiku in advertising.
Power Cords:
Electraglide Ultraman: Big, ugly, stiff as a six-day-old corpse, but oh, so beautiful to hear. This is a 2m. 15amp'er. Cost thousands new. Sell $500
Tekline Sig. 12. A solid, smooth performer. It outperformed a few of my top-dollar jobs on certain gear. The best I tried, bar none, on my headphone amp. Ret. $400 Sell $200
Subwoofer
TBI Magellan VIIIxu w/external su amp. Compact and musical. I bought this to jive with my Beauhorn Virtuosos, and it integrated absolutely seamlessly. The bass came from the speakers, not the subwoofer, or so it seemed. The external amp is the way to go: no interference between electronics and sound waves. This unit is in immaculate condition. I paid $1750 for it from the mfgr; you don’t see them used—ever. I’d sell for $1500 or entertain interesting trades, partic. for analog gear. OBM
Turntables (2)
Luxman PD 284 w/Ortofon cart. Mechanically/electrically/stylus-tically perfect. Table and plinth in fine shape, but the dustcover is pretty scratched. Nonetheless, a magnificent-sounding table. $175. The cart is probably worth about that much.Headphone AmpG&W An obviously well-made little starter amp. Pitch black background; very lively-sounding, plenty of gain for any phones. Inculdes 120v adaptor—not a cheap thingy in itself. OBM $160Call 301 445-1243 or write

Luxman PD 264 This is a sleeper. With Grado cart, this table will blow you away. That's all I'll say. In real good shape all-around. Dust cover's got a few surf. scratches; other than that, keen-o. Sell $225
CEC HD-53 headphone amp. A dandy, and I'm not kidding. I got a deal I couldn't refuse on one that cost 4X as much, so of course, I spent the money. Admit it, you'd do the same. Anyway, this is a very, very sweet little amp. Two jacks, balanced/rca inputs. Immaculate. Ret. $650 Sell $400
G&W Headphone amp. A very nice starter amp. Dead black background, plenty of gain, well-constructed. Includes power convertor--no cheapie, in itself; while not the most expensive available, it
is the one that matches best with this amp. $160
