Default FS Magnum-Dynalab FT-11 FM Tuner

Magnum-Dynalab FT-11 tuner.
Good shape apart from a small nick in the tuning knob.
The stock jacks have been replaced with high quality Cardas RCA jacks. Since I got XM I never listen to regular radio anymore, so the tuner has to go!

Prefer Money orders but can do PayPal :-)
Asking $285 + 10 lbs shipping from 49112

Features

A unique feature with the FT-11, being an analog design, is the convenience of presets. The three provided are tuned manually by the user and may be reset at any time.

In the manual mode, tuning is continuous through a smooth-running, rotary control precision, multi-turn potentiometer which provides the necessary control voltage for the tuning varactors.

Stereo and mono modes are user selectable. Unique in the Dynalab design is stereo separation which is keyed to the strength of the incoming signal. Thus, blending occurs automatically whenever the strength of the incoming signal drops below the level established for full quieting. This allows for noise-free reception by reducing channel separation, rather than having to switch into mono in order to receive a quiet program.

Muting is user-selectable and keyed to the noise level within the received signal. With MUTE invoked, the program signal will be squelched whenever the noise level rises above a preset level, such as when moving between stations.

Large, easy-to-read panel meters provide continuous display of "center tune" and incoming signal strength. The tuned station frequency is displayed in soft, green, 0.5" numerals. The digital display is driven by an independent frequency counter that derives its information from the tuner's local oscillator circuitry.
