Update (3/18):
Well, it's been months, but I'm bumping this again after getting it back in my hands again due to the 2nd eBay buyer reporting issues with it. I've finally gotten around to opening the unit up and the issue seems to be fixed.
The issue was that the signal would take several minutes to get a lock and I verified this issue when I got the DAC back. I ended up reseating the DAC module and was able to get a signal lock immediately after. I am not a DIY expert by any means, but the unit looks to have OPA2134's in there, so maybe one could even do some opamp rolling?
The unit seems to have gotten some slight scratches on the black casing on the side. I do not have pictures of this, but can take some on request. I'm pricing this to go at
$old shipped. Not looking for trades at the moment.
