Up for sale is my 220V DIYEDEN SVDAC05. This is based on the CS4398 chip and takes USB, Toslink, Coax and BNC. To my ears it is pretty well balanced throughout the spectrum - I recently bought a TDA1543 based DAC and prefer it due to its comparatively warm and detail mids. I find the CS4398's soundstage also a bit airier and 'natural'. The TDA1543 tends to bring the sound in closer and a bit more rearward facing, which I prefer. My AV-710 with the Wolfson DAC sounds comparatively bright with pronounced trebles. I'm looking to fund a M3 and a TDA1541A DAC so this has to go

.
It's about 7 months old, but looks the same as the day I got it - if you're wondering, this particular unit's transformer was loose, I've tightened it properly and there have been no problems. Also, the buttons were a bit warped so I fixed that by realigning the front display board to the chassis. I also have another unit which has also been repaired by myself except for the rear RCA jacks (I can sell this unit at an even cheaper price).
Anyway that was a really long winded introduction, I'm asking for 66% of the current selling price of 169 USD shipped registered post to Australia. So, 111 USD or 155 AUD + 3% paypal fees - this is without the Audio-GD Sun HDAMs which I installed. If you would like the Sun HDAMs, I'm also asking for 66% of the price which I got it at (2x16 + 2x3 extension leads + 12 = 50) which is 33 USD or 46 AUD.
For international buyers, you will need to get a step down transformer from 220V to 110V and add 10 USD for registered international shipping - note that this service is not trackable, they can only tell me when it has left the country.
