FS: Audio Research Reference CD7 CD Player
For sale is my Audio Research Reference CD7 CD player. I have sent the player back to Audio Research for all updates and inspection, to include both sets of tubes. It is now packaged to send on to the next lucky owner!
This is in excellent condition and sounds wonderful. I am the original owner, and bought the player about 3 1/2 years ago. It comes with the original box, manual, remote, an extra set of tubes, and even the Audio Research screwdriver!
I am asking $4000 (new price $8995). I accept Money Order/Certified Check or PayPal (preferred). If using PayPal, please add 3% to cover the PayPal fees. Unfortunately, I am not interested in trades at this time.

Bump. Player sent in to Audio Research for updating, inspection, and testing of all tubes. The updates include:
1. New power supply.
2. Correction of the "False Start" problem. Previous CD7's would automatically turn on when initially plugged in. The update corrects this issue and makes the player only turn on when you hit the power switch.
The lucky new owner will have a relatively new and inspected CD player. Thanks for looking!
